Chairman of National Livestock Committee 1979-1984. Vice-President of Ulster/North Leinster 1984-1988. Represented the Livestock Committee on COPA in Brussels 1979-1986. Board Member of CBF (Irish Livestock and Meat Board) 1979-1986.
