Full-time Public Representative and former Teacher. First elected February 1982 and at each subsequent election. Member Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs. Member Dublin City Council since 1979. Former member, Official Sinn Fein and of the Irish Republican Socialist Party. Held balance of power in March 1982 and March 1987. He voted for Charles Haughey for Taoiseach in 1982 and his abstention 5 years later kept Mr Haughey in power. | |
