(Irish: Darghal Figes.) Secretary of Dail Commission of Inquiry into the Resources and Industries of Ireland (September 1919 - January 1922); Acting Chairman of Drafting Committee of the Free State Constitution (1922). Wrote a novel The Return of the Hero (1923) using the pseudonym 'Michael Ireland'. Committed suicide. [DOB confirmed from birth certificate]
