Anne Taylor was elected as a Councillor to Clonmel Borough Council in June 2004. Anne joined the Labour Party in 1995 and played an active role in the work of the Labour Womens Council who nominated her to the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party. At local level in Clonmel, the birthplace of the Labour Party, Anne is Chairperson of the Clonmel Branch and will be working hard to regain the Dail seat in South Tipperary for the Labour Party. Anne is the Senior Independent Director on the Board of ESB. [2003 online]
